Our Editorial Standards
We are committed to accuracy, transparency, and integrity in all nutrition content we publish. Our mission is to provide reliable, evidence-based information that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their nutritional health.
Core Publishing Principles
These five principles guide every article, recommendation, and editorial decision we make.
Evidence-Based Content
All nutritional recommendations and health claims are grounded in peer-reviewed research, clinical studies, and established nutritional science. We cite our sources transparently and distinguish between consensus findings and emerging research.
Accuracy & Transparency
We present information honestly, including limitations of current research and areas of scientific disagreement. Authors disclose potential conflicts of interest, and we clearly label opinion pieces separate from factual articles.
User Safety First
We prioritize reader safety by including appropriate disclaimers, recommending professional consultation where necessary, and avoiding sensationalized or alarmist claims that could encourage unsafe practices.
Inclusive Perspective
We acknowledge nutritional diversity, cultural food traditions, and individual variability in nutritional needs. Our content respects different dietary approaches and avoids one-size-fits-all messaging.
Continuous Improvement
We actively update content as new research emerges and correct errors promptly. We welcome reader feedback and use it to improve accuracy and clarity across our platform.
Independence & Integrity
Editorial decisions are made independently based on merit and reader value, not commercial relationships. We maintain clear separation between our informational content and any external partnerships.
Our Fact-Checking Process
Every article goes through rigorous verification before publication.
Source Verification
Authors identify and evaluate primary sources, including peer-reviewed journals, government health databases, and established health organizations. We prioritize recent, high-quality research while acknowledging foundational studies that remain relevant.
Editorial Review
A senior editor with nutrition expertise reviews all content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our publishing standards. Editors verify claims against sources and ensure proper context is provided for complex scientific concepts.
External Expert Consultation
For complex or emerging topics, we consult with external experts—registered nutritionists, researchers, and specialists—who review drafts and provide feedback before publication. This ensures multi-perspective validation of information.
Publication & Ongoing Monitoring
After publication, we monitor new research and reader feedback. Articles include publication dates and update timestamps. When significant new evidence emerges, we revise content and note changes transparently in an update log.
Editorial Team & Advisory Board
Our content is developed by qualified professionals with diverse backgrounds in nutrition, health science, and public communication.

Author Credentials & Transparency
We are transparent about who writes our content and what qualifications they bring.
Qualification Requirements
All writers on the Nutritionistscheduler platform have formal credentials in nutrition, dietetics, health science, or a related field. At minimum, contributors hold:
- A degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, or food science
- Professional certification or registration in their field
- Demonstrated experience in nutrition education or research
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Each author completes a conflict of interest declaration covering:
- Financial relationships with food, supplement, or nutrition companies
- Professional affiliations that might bias coverage
- Personal or family dietary practices relevant to topics they cover
Any disclosed conflicts are reviewed by editorial staff and noted transparently in articles when relevant.
Author Bylines
Every published article includes the author's name, credentials, and a brief professional biography. This allows readers to assess the author's expertise and background for the topic covered.
Correction & Revision Policy
We correct errors promptly and document all significant changes to maintain reader trust.
Reporting Errors
We welcome reader reports of inaccuracies. If you believe you've found an error in our content, please contact us with:

Review Timeline
Our editorial team will review submitted corrections within five business days. We evaluate the evidence provided and consult with relevant experts if needed. You will receive a response confirming:
- If we agree: The error has been corrected, and we explain what changed and why.
- If we need clarification: We may request additional sources or details before making a decision.
- If we disagree: We explain our reasoning and stand by the original statement, or offer further discussion if appropriate.
How Corrections Are Documented
When we correct an article, we follow these practices:
- Minor factual corrections: Corrected silently if the change is small and doesn't alter the article's core message (e.g., fixing a number, grammar). The article's update date is refreshed.
- Significant factual corrections: Added as a clearly visible note at the end of the article, explaining what was changed and why (e.g., "Correction: This article previously stated X, but updated research shows Y").
- Major revisions: Marked with a prominent update notice at the top of the article, documenting what changed and when. Original publication date and revision dates are both visible.
Updates Due to New Research
As nutritional science evolves, recommendations and findings change. We proactively update articles when:
- • Major new research contradicts or refines previously published information
- • Health organizations (WHO, government agencies, professional bodies) update official guidelines
- • Consensus shifts on a topic based on accumulated evidence
When we update content for this reason, we add a note explaining the new evidence and its source, so readers understand the basis for the change.
